Kristin happens to share her office building with the Eyebank. Or at least she used to... We found these discarded eyeball containers in an old storage closet. We thought about taking one. But how about baking one??

i was thinking about how to bake this: you could make a quadruple layer cake and cover the whole thing with fondant icing (this thick, pliable and smooth icing found on many wedding cakes today). fondant can be dyed any color, and shaped to make all sorts of crazy cakes!!! also, making fondant eyeballs would be cool, so when you cut into the cake it would be sliced eyeballs inside!!!
